Betting Facilities

The betting system that was hitherto done on electro mechanical machines phased out consequent to introduction of computers in 1988.

Custom - designed software was installed on state-of-the-art computers, thus creating a totally automated totalisator betting environment….For the first time ever in the history of Indian racing. The betting terminals were designed to suit adverse Indian tropical conditions.

On successful commissioning of the computerized betting system in February, 1988, other race clubs in the country followed suit. As of today, 7 race clubs across the country have adopted HRC's automated betting system.
