RACEDAY REPORT

Track Condition: GOING GOOD. Penetro Meter Reading : 3.41 cms

The False Rails are positioned from 1400 mtrs to 900 mtrs at an average width of 5 mtrs and from thereafter gradually increased to 6 mtrs upto the winning post. The distances are measured and marked accordingly.

1st RACE (169) THE ONNU ONNU ONNU PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III (8 Runners)

Explanation of App. Kuldeep Singh (GLORIA) that his mount did not show initial speed as such he was unable to position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race and in the straight he did his best was confirmed by Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh was noted for future reference.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of TOTAL CONTROL, Trained by A. Vatsalya and ridden by Jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar.

KNOTTY SENORITA (P. Sai Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

2nd RACE (170) THE CHARON PLATE ABOUT 1600 - Metres CATEGORY-II (8 Runners)

GOLD GIVER (P. Ajeeth Kumar) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths.

SCREENSHO (Md. Ismail) dropped back from about the 600 mtrs whilst traveling in front finishing the course distance behind. Trainer K. Robin Reddy was advised for a better performance in future.

3rd RACE (171) THE MALVADO PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-III (8 Runners)

The head gear used on SHUBHRAK ( A A Vikrant) gave way after loading, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.

Jockey B R Kumar (DESERT SULTAN) was fined Rs. 5,000/- for shifting in 50 mtrs after the start in the process causing interference to EXPONENT ( R S Jodha) and SILVER ARROW (P. Sai Kumar).

Jockey Mukesh Kumar (MASTER TOUCH) was fined Rs. 5000/- for failing to ride out his mount past the post.

4th RACE (172) THE ONNU ONNU ONNU PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III (9 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (ASSURED SUCCESS) that his mount was hanging in throughout the race in the process shifted in at about the 800 mtrs caused inconvenience to GENIE (Md. Ekram Alam) and thereafter his mount did not raise a fluent gallop inpiste of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding was trotting lame on left fore due to fetlock joint sprain.

NOORIAN (H M Akshay) was denied a clear run at about the 800 mtrs due to crowding of the runners racing in front.

Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ALWAYS SPECIAL) was fined Rs. 5000/- for failing to ride out his mount past the post.

SILVER LINING (Alex Rozario) winner of the race is sampled.

5th RACE (173) THE MIR FAZILATH HUSSAIN MEMORIAL CUP ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-II (8 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey Mukesh Kumar (OLIVER'S MOUNT) that his mount was trying to run out in the initial stages of the race as such he was unable to position his mount behind the horses as instructed and in the straight he did his best was not accepted and the Jockey was severely to make more determined efforts to follow the given instructions.

Jockey Alex Rozario (WINNING ATTITUDE) reported that his mount was trying to run out for greater part of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer L D Silva was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey G. Naresh (STAR FOREVER) that his instructions were to sit close, but as his mount did not show initial speed, he was unable to position as instructed in the initial stages of the race and in the straight he did his best. Trainer K.S.V. Prasad Raju while confirming the above added that his charge is running in quick span of time and this might have affected the running of his charge and other than this he had no plausible explanation to offer to his charges dismal performance was noted for future reference.

LINDA ( A. Ashhad Asbar) winner of the race is sampled.

6th RACE (174) THE POCHARAM PLATE ABOUT 1800 - Metres CATEGORY-II (6 Runners)

HURRICANE BAY (Akshay Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

7th RACE (175) THE T. CHANDRASEKHAR REDDY MEMORIAL CUP ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-I (7 Runners)

Jockey Gaurav Singh (PROUD MARY) was cautioned for shifting in soon after the start in the process taking the ground of BLACK ONYX ( Mukesh Kumar).

Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) (ONE N ONLY) was fined Rs.5000/- for shifting in 100 mtrs after the start in the process bumping LAST WISH (A. Ashhad Asbar) racing on his inside and thereafter shifted in again in the process causing inconvenience to MISS MAYA (Akshay Kumar) and REIGNING BEAUTY (Alex Rozario) racing on his inside.

Jockey Md. Ekram Alam (ENCORE) was fined Rs.2000/- for drifting out and traveling wide in the straight for no apparent reason.

8th RACE (176) THE MALVADO PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-III (8 Runners)

ZIDANE (Rafique Sk) was observed to be suffering from severe colic, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

JIM ( P Uday Kiran) jumped out awkwardly losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

Jockey P Uday Kiran (JIM) was fined Rs.5000/- in the presence of Trainer M F Ali Khan for tender handling of his mount for greater part of the race.

SECRET OPTION (P. Ajeeth Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

STARTERS REMARKS:

Race No. 2: GOLD GIVER slow out by a 2 lengths. Race No. 3: SHUBHRAK was withdrawn before coming under starters orders.

SILVER ARROW was troublesome to stall. Trainer A. Imran Khan was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 8: ANAHITA slow out by a length.
