RACEDAY REPORT

Track Condition: SOFT GOING. Penetro Meter Reading : 6.47 cms

False Rails are positioned from 1400 mtrs to about 500 mtrs at an average width of 3 mtrs. The distance are measured and marked accordingly.

Consequent to App. Ajay Kumar having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted change of Jockeys to be substituted on the following horses:

Race No. 4 Horse No. 1 DALI'S DESTINY M. Mark

Race No. 5 Horse No. 9 SPLENDOUR ON GRASS App. Shivansh

Race No. 9 Horse No. 7 SOORYA VAHAN App. Arjun

1st RACE (1) THE CON AMORE PLATE (Division - I) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-II (11 Runners)

BRILLIANT BLUE (P. Trevor) was observed to be trotting lame on right fore probably due to shoulder sprain, as such the filly has been permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

Jockey A A Vikrant (NONPARIEL) reported that his mount was lugging in, in the final stages of the race more so under pressure inspite of his best effort, noted.

CUTIE PIE (Rafique Sk) trailed the field throughout the race and finished the course distance behind. Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy was advised for a better performance in future.

AMIGO (Mohit Singh), ANEMOI (Neeraj Rawal) and BLAZING SADDLE (P. Sai Kumar) finished the course at the rear end of the field.

ROLLS ROYCE (R S Jodha) was observed to have sustained lacerated injury over left fore around the mid third outer cannon. However the rig was trotting sound after the race.

STAR OF NIGHT (A. Sandesh) winner of the race is sampled.

2nd RACE (2) THE CON AMORE PLATE (Division - II) ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-II (12 Runners)

Explanation of App. Arjun (JUNGLE GIRL) that his mount suddenly veered out soon after the start because of which he got unbalanced on his mount and in the process lost his left stirrup iron which he could regain after travelling a few strides and thereafter his mount did not raise a fluent gallop inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer Laxman Singh was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey Mohit Singh (GATIMAN) that his mount was trying to run out soon after the start inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Explanation of Jockey Santosh Raj N R (TALKING STICK) that his mount did not show initial speed as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage in the initial stages of the race was not accepted and the Jockey was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts to be well up with the field in the initial stages of the race.

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (ALWAYS SPECIAL) that his mount has got a soft mouth and was hesitating to raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts,noted. Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

3rd RACE (3) THE SCARLET PRINCE PLATE ABOUT 1400 - Metres CATEGORY-III (16 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey Surya Prakash (PINATUBO) that his mount dropped back from about the 400 mtrs whilst travelling with front runners and finished the course distance behind inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference..

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (DAPPER LOOK) that his mount was hanging in, in the final stages of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted. Trainer K. Satheesh was advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race.

Jockey Rifique Sk (WANDRING WARRIOR) was cautioned for travelling wide while negotiating the final bend for no apparent reason.

Explanation of Jockey P Sai Kumar (STAR FOREVER) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference.

DUKE OF TUSCANY (P.Trevor) winner of the race is sampled.

4th RACE (4) THE ADILABAD PLATE ABOUT 1100 - Metres CATEGORY-III (14 Runners)

FATUMA (Rafique Sk) was observed to be suffering from fever, as such the mare was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

DALI'S CHAMPION (Surya Prakash) was observed to be trotting lame on left fore, as such the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.

Jockeys Mohit Singh (DECCAN SPIRIT) and R S Jodha (LIGHTS ON) were cautioned for cutting across the field soon after the start when not sufficiently clear of the runners racing on their inside.

App. Shivansh (CALISTA GIRL) was fined Rs. 2,000/- for shifting in at about the 900 mtrs soon after the start in the process causing interference to CALISTOGA (Afroz Khan), BORN BRAVE (Akshay Kumar) and EMINENCY (App. Md. Ekram Alam).

Explanation of Jockey Afroz Khan (CALISTOGA)in the presence of Trainer L D Silva that his instruction were to sit close 2nd and do his best in the straight which he could not follow due to the interference he received at about the 900 mtrs and thereafter did his best was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 3000/- for failing to persevere with his mount in the initial stages of the race thereby placing his mount at a disadvantage.

BLACK POWER (Md. Ismail) trailed the field throughout the race inspite of Jockeys efforts. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was advised for a better performance in future.

5th RACE (5) THE P. M. BOKDAWALLA MEMORIAL CUP (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (14 Runners)

D YES BOSS (P. Ajeet Kumar) was reluctant to be stalled inspite of several attempts, as such the mare was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starter orders, SSC revoked.

CLASSICAL MUSIC (App. Kuldeep Singh) was fractious and broke the front gate, as such the mare was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked. Further on Veterinary examination, the mare was observed to be trotting lame on right hind.

BLAZING GUN (Mohit Singh) was slow into stride losing about 1 or 2 lengths.

6th RACE (6) THE OSMAN SAGAR CUP (Division - II) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (10 Runners)

N R I SUPERPOWER (Abhay Singh) and LAST WISH (A. Ashhed Asbar) were denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of the field.

Explanation of Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar (LAST WISH) in the presence of Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh that his instructions were to sit off the pace, not to brush in the initial stages of the race and to do his best in the straight which he tried to follow but got beat in the final stages of the race was not accepted and the Jockey A. Ashhad Asbar was fined a sum of Rs.10,000/- for failing to ride out his mount to complete advantage in the final stages of the race and was cautioned to ensure that similar lapses do not occur in future.

Jockey Mukesh Kumar (SHADOW OF THE MOON) was severely reprimanded for dropping his hands in the final 150 mtrs though on a beaten horse.

7th RACE (7) THE OSMAN SAGAR CUP (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (10 Runners)

Consequent to Jockey P. Trevor having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards of the Club permitted Jockey Kuldeep Singh (Sr) to be substituted on ANZIO.

THANKS ( App. Shivansh) was was observed to be trotting lame on left fore due to fetlock joint sprain.

Explanation of Jockey Kuldeep Singh ( Sr) (ANZIO) that he was denied a clear run in the final stages of the race due to front horse BEST BUDDY (App. Md. Ekram Alam) dropping back.

MISS MAYA (Akshay Kumar) winner of the race is sampled.

8th RACE (8) THE P. M. BOKDAWALLA MEMORIAL CUP (Division - I) ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-II (16 Runners)

Explanation of Jockey Surya Prakash (BURGUNDY BLACK) that his mount jumped out awkwardly resulting in, the loss of his right stirrup iron which he could regain after travelling few strides. As this confirmed our observation, no action beyond noting the same was taken. Trainer Magan Singh Parmar was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

MALIBU (M. Mark) took a fly jump in the process lost about 1 or 2 lengths. Trainer L D Silva was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Jockey Mohit Singh (NUCLEUS) was cautioned for shifting out in the final 100 mtrs in the process taking the ground of FARA (G. Naresh).

9th RACE (9) THE TENACITY PLATE ABOUT 1200 - Metres CATEGORY-III (14 Runners)

SETASTAR (M Mark) was examined at the starting gates and was observed to be bleeding from both the nostrils, as such the filly was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds before coming under starters orders.

Consequent to Jockey Mohit Singh (CATCHME IF YOU CAN) getting injured at the gates, CATCHME IF YOU CAN was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.

Jockey Surya Prakash (BIEN PENSANT) was cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts to be well up with the field in the initial stages of the race.

IF YOU LIKE IT (B R Kumar) was observed to have sustained clipped injury over right hind back of fetlock. However the mare was trotting sound after the race.

STARTERS REMARKS:

Race No 1 : ANEMOI was fractious inside the stalls. Trainer N. Rawal was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 4: CALISTOGA and BORN BRAVE were troublesome to stall. Respective Trainers N. Rawal and L D Silva were advised to show their charges at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 5: CLASSICAL MUSIC reared up inside the stalls as such the filly was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders, SSC revoked.

Race No. 6: MISS LITTLE ANGEL took time to stall. Trainer G. Shashikanth was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 8: MALIBU and BURGUNDY BLACK took a fly jump. Respective Trainers L D Silva and Magan Singh Parmar were advised to show their charges at the gates before next accepting in a race.

Race No. 9: SETASTAR was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. CATCHME IF YOU CAN was fractious inside the stall, as such the filly was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders.
